Safari Overview
This Unforgettable Safari Photography trip will give you the opportunity to visit and take photos at Tarangire National Park, Ndutu Area, Ikoma, Northern Serengeti, Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater. Serengeti is considered as one of ‘The Ten Wonders of The Natural World’, and one of the best events to witness in Tanzania. A truly awe- inspiring spectacle of life in an expansive ecosystem ruled by rainfall and the urge for survival amongst the herbivores of the Serengeti plains. Each year the Serengeti plays host to hundreds of thousands of animals during the migration In June and July wildebeest make their way across the Grumeti River moving northwest in the park, a sight that easily tops the bucket lists of many travelers.
Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1 -ARUSHA
On your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will meet with the guide driver and transferred to your accommodation for check in, food, relaxation and briefing. Accommodation: Mount Meru Hotel | Meals: breakfast
Day 2-3 – ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
The guide driver will pick you up early in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park. The journey from Arusha to Tarangire National Park takes almost 5 hours. On your arrival, you will check in, relax and receive a short briefing. On the next day you will spend a full day game drive along with photography. Accommodation: Tarangire Safari Lodge | Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 4-5 TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK TO NDUTU AREA
The guide driver will pick you up early in the morning and transfer you to Ndutu Area for 2 days, 1day full game drive and photography. The Ndutu plains is a seasonal location tucked between the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority and Serengeti which allows off-road game drives, perfect for migration viewing as thousands of baby calves born every day along with predators such as lion, follows in a desperate fight for survival, and later on you will be returned to your accommodation for relaxation and briefing. Accommodation: Ndutu Safari Lodge | Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 6-8 NDUTU AREA TO IKOMA
The guide driver will pick you up early in the morning and transfer you to Ikoma for 2 days, 2 days full game drive and photography. On your trip you will have the chance to encounter lions, elephants, wild dogs and other species, and later on you will be returned to your accommodation for relaxation and briefing. Accommodation: Ikoma Tented Camp | Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 9-11 IKOMA TO NORTHEN SERENGETI
The guide driver will pick you up early in the morning and transfer you to Northern Serengeti for 2 days, 2 days full game drive and photography. On your trip you will have the chance to encounter lions, elephants, wild dogs and other species, and later on you will be returned to your accommodation for relaxation and briefing. Accommodation: Mapito Tented Camp | Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 12-14 NORTHEN SERENGETI TO CENTRAL SERENGETI
The guide driver will pick you up early in the morning and transfer you to Central Serengeti for 2 days, 2 days full game drive and photography. On your trip you will have the chance to encounter lions, elephants, wild dogs and other species, and later on you will be returned to your accommodation for relaxation and briefing. Accommodation: Katikati Tented Camp | Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 16 CENTRAL SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
The guide driver will pick you up early in the morning and transfer you to Ngorongoro Crater for 2 days, 1day full game drive and photography. On your trip you will have the chance to encounter lions, elephants, hyena and other species, and later on you will be returned to your accommodation for relaxation and briefing. Accommodation: Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge | Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 17 NGORONGORO TO ARUSHA
The guide driver will pick you early in the morning and drive you to Arusha where you will be facilitated with a day room for freshen up, until your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for onward flight to your home country. END OF TRIP Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner
